City likely will buy, resell Forest Hill
At the March 29 Noblesville Common Council meeting, the Council will vote on whether to approve a purchase agreement in which Legacy Christian School would buyForest Hill Elementary School and a portion of land surrounding it from the City of Noblesville. The city and Noblesville Schools entered into a memorandum of understanding last December for the purchase of the Forest Hill building and property by the city from the school district. Also on the Council’s agenda at next Tuesday’s meeting is a resolution to approve the purchase of the Forest Hill building and property from Noblesville Schools. The proposed purchase agreement between the city and Legacy states that the city would retain ownership of the woods off the north side of the property as well as a strip of land contiguous to the south boundary of the property. Per the terms of the proposed purchase agreement, Legacy would take ownership of the remaining land as well as the Forest Hill building in “as is” condition.
