Belfry auditions for new musical Feb. 3 and 4

Auditions for the musical “Little Shop of Horrors” will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3 and 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 at the Belfry Theatre, 10690 Greenfield Ave., east of Noblesville off of Ind. 37.

The comedy, with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman, will be directed by Connie Murello-Todd and Christy Clinton. Performances will begin on April 5 and run through April 21. Roles are available in this family musical for four women, three men, the male voice of the plant Audrey II, and several members of the singing chorus.

Those auditioning should prepare a short monologue of less than two minutes and 32 bars of a solo, for which an accompanist will be provided. Those interested in being a puppeteer should contact the directors before Feb. 4. For further details, visit www.BelfryTheatre.com/auditions.
