Riverview Health is combining two annual events into one.
The Women of Style Show, presented by Riverview Health Auxiliary and Riverview Health Foundation, is set for Sept. 14 at Ritz Charles, 12156 N. Meridian St., Carmel. Registration and shipping begins at 10:30 a.m., with lunch at noon.
“This is the first time we’ve done the event like this,” said Maggie Owens, philanthropy officer for Riverview Health Foundation. “In years past, we have done a Women of Vision luncheon, which is put on by the the foundation, and that’s usually in the spring. The Health Auxiliary does a fashion show this time of year.”
Owens said Riverview Health was going through a new electronic medical records launch in the spring and decided to put off the Women of Vision luncheon, so it combined with Riverview Health Auxiliary to do a combined show.
“We can feature the Women of Vision models as well as utilize the style show with The Secret Ingredient and Day Furs doing the styling of our women,” Owens said.
Megan Wiles, executive director of the foundation and president of Noblesville Common Council, will be a speaker.
“Representatives from The Secret Ingredient and Day Furs will speak about the clothing and introduce the women,” Owens said. “It’s a good luncheon with good women, all benefiting a good cause.”
Owens said the eight Women of Vision honorees will be announced prior to the luncheon.
“The women selected are those that have a high vision of a philanthropic heart that are helping to really set the tone for women’s issues, whether that’s (physical) health issues or mental health,” Owens said. “We also talk about the different grants that the Women of Vision Giving Club program gives to different parts of the hospital.”
Tickets are $45 for individuals and $600 for a corporate table. To register, visit riverview.org/classes/women-of-style-luncheon/.
